Giving a 1-STAR rating wouldn't be quite low enough. We heard this was a great place for their Fish-Fry and was really... looking forward to it. We got there around 6:00. It took about 15 minutes to get a table which is chaotic in itself. You just need to watch for a table to open up and grab it without knowing who was next in line, though everyone handled that well. We then helped clear the table and the server finished up. From there it was over 30 minutes where we had no contact from anyone. There were at least 3 tables that came in after us that had their orders taken and 2 of those had salads delivered to them. Still, no one came to our table. I do want to point out the server was very pleasant, but I have to assume very overwhelmed. It was just disappointing to be ignored for that long. After waiting for those 30+ minutes at the table, we just got up and left. My friend had left his phone on the table and had to go back into to get it. Even then, no one asked why we had left. I'm hoping this is an isolated case as I have to assume the food is good. Maybe we'll try it in the future.read more

Took my sister there for a birthday lunch. Shortly after sitting down some guy in there starting spray painting right... next to us. I could already smell the fumes. I asked him politely to stop for a few minutes, since we were about to get our food. He just ignored me and continued to spray. We decided to move outside where we were harassed by flies non stop. I even had to set up the umbrella, so that we didn't have to sit in the sun. The umbrella was covered with spider webs.read more

Stopped in for lunch while traveling. Super friendly, amazing tacos! I'm from Los Angeles area. Tacos? In Wisconsin??... Yes! And they were fantastic! Hubby's burger was huge! What is that thing? Was invited here for a wedding reception. Basic food served pulled pork or shredded chicken. The sides that were... offered were decent Mac and Cheese with bacon and potato salad. Chicken and pork both dry with very little flavor. The Mac and Cheese was ok very bland in flavor. The potato salad was quite tasty. With a little work they could really make their menu better.read more

Ate at this place two years ago, food and service was fantastic. Stopped in recently and ordered prime rib sandwich. ... When it was set down on my table I immediately smelled something sour. The au jaus smelled bar, the sandwich smelled bad. I couldn’t eat it. I waited for waiter to return to table, my friends finished their meal, and we continued to wait for service. I finally gave up and went up to bar, told bartender the sandwich was bad, her reply was very rude and that I was wrong. I had to pay full price for meal and left hungry. Food and Service was the worst. Will never go there again!!!read more

We stopped here on a whim traveling thru. The food was amazing. I had a burger with real grilled apple slices and it... was SO good. Everyone cleaned their plates, kids included. Staff was great and didn't mind the noisy kids unleashed from the car after a 2 hr drive.read more

Nice friendly country bar with good food. They have really good charbroiled burgers. They have thick cut apple wood... smoked bacon that was perfectly cooked and crispy and perfect to put on a hamburger. Two of my favorite beers on tap too. Pecatonica Muskelager and Spotted Cow.
